Calendars, sports, picture cards, but not only. The Lavazza Historical Archive embraces the themes representing the history of the company, showcasing the eras and the leading names of a business story still going strong after 125 years. In 2020, MiBACT—the Italian Ministry for Heritage, Culture, and Tourism—launched its #iorestoacasa campaign, inviting organizations to open their doors virtually to the public. This series of digital stories is the Lavazza Museum’s answer to that call, featuring exclusive content held by the Archive for lovers of art, culture, and, obviously, of fine coffee.
Produced in partnership with Promemoria Group, which helped Lavazza create its physical and digital archive, the stories are a gateway for visitors to engage with the passion and genius of the company’s founder, Luigi Lavazza, to learn more about the key themes explored by the Museum, and to discover, through words and pictures—some never-before released—the many stories in a cup of Lavazza coffee.
